Journal of Investigative Dermatology Symposium Proceedings was a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published semi-annually by Elsevier. Launched in 1996, it published invited papers relevant to all aspects of cutaneous biology and skin disease, before ceasing publication in 2020.
Each issue featured original research articles, reports and reviews often initially presented at a scientific conference or symposium, as well as invited perspectives and commentaries. Published papers covered a range of topics, including biochemistry, biophysics, carcinogenesis, cell regulation, clinical research, development, embryology, epidemiology and other population-based research, extracellular matrix, genetics, immunology, melanocyte biology, microbiology, molecular and cell biology, pathology, percutaneous absorption, pharmacology, photobiology, physiology, skin structure, and wound healing.
